Twenty b&w Photographs of George Washington Carver plus two related photos spanning the time period of 1910-1947 showing him working in his lab, at the Carver Cabin in Greenfield Village, meeting Franklin Delano Roosevelt, Mr and Mrs Henry Ford, Edsel For

Tuskegee Institute, PH Polk and Robert R Douglas plus Acme Newspapers. b&w, 3.75 x 4.75, oblong 5 x 7, 7x 5, 8 x 5, 9 x 7 and remainder are 8 x 10, two negatives for two different photos, almost all photos have typewritten labels attached. Photos have creasing, soiling, tears, removal marks and lacking corners, overall fair/good. The previous owner has written on the back of a few of the them explaining the contents. Three are blindstamped "Photographic Division CM Battey Instructor, Tuskegee Institute, Alabama," two are inkstamped "Kindly Give Credit Line to PH Polk, Tuskegee Inst. Alabama," one blindstamped "Photo by Robert R. Douglas" and one stamped "Acme Newspictures." The photographs are reprints, both early and late; there are two duplicates. Sold as a lot and as is.
