Magic Movie Picture Card made by the G. Felsenthal Co, Chicago, showing a photographic image of a man wearing a homburg hat. A tab extends from the card and when bent it causes the man's hat to move and face to change expressions.

G. Felsenthal & Co: Chicago. Pat. Dec. 28, 1 Card is oblong 3.5 x 4.5 (including tab), card front is brown with the word "BifiX" printed above photo and two metal fasteners attaching it to the back which also happens to be a postcard. Light wear and creasing to front, tab and post card have soiling and edge wear, tab has about a 1/2" vertical tear along edge of card else very good. The G. Felsenthal Company was founded around 1899 manufactured various kinds of advertising novelties. Letterhead from the 1920s indicated that they were "Sole manufacturers of Magic Moving Picture Cards." Exact date of the card is unknown but the company was renamed G. Felsenthal & Sons in 1914, so it has to be sometime prior to that date. A fun item, Scarce.
