Hand Colored Mounted Photograph of the front entrance of the Dearborn Inn taken in 1931(?) by Asa A. Stutsman.

Dearborn nd (1931?) Photo is oblong 7 x 9.75, mount is oblong 11 x 14. Photo is very good, mount has a tear and creasing, toning and spotting. We acquired several of Stutsman's photos from the 1920s and 1930s and most were identified on the reverse of the mount "Photographed and Colored by Asa A. Stutsman, Dearborn, Mich." but this was not. Asa A. Stutsman was a graduate of the Illinois School for the Deaf, worked for The Detroit Free Press for many years and was married to Grace Taft, a graduate of Gallaudet College. The Dearborn Inn opened in 1931 and was designed by Albert Kahn and Henry Ford. Would look attractive framed.
