Hand Colored Mounted Photograph of the front entrance of Dearborn High School taken in the late 1920s by Asa A. Stutsman.

Dearborn nd (late 1920s) Photo is 7.25 x 9.5, mount is oblong 11 x 14. Photo is very good, mount has light toning and spotting. We acquired several of Stutsman's hand colored photographs from the late 1920s, including duplicates and most of which he had printed on the back of the mount "Photographed and Colored by Asa A. Stutsman, Dearborn, Mich." Asa A. Stutsman was a graduate of the Illinois School for the Deaf, worked for The Detroit Free Press for many years and was married to Grace Taft, a graduate of Gallaudet College. Stutsman has identified the building in the left corner of the photo as "Dearborn High School" which opened in 1926. Would look attractive framed. Sold as a pair.
