FIRST EDITION, AUTHOR'S OWN COPY WITH HIS INKSTAMP ON FRONT FLY, with a TLS from Walter A. Bara of McGraw-Hill concerning an Arabic language version of the book, a TLS from Bara's secretary, a copy of a monthly book review magazine in Japanese with a section on Padover, a copy of the Reading List for Padover's AMERICAN POLITICAL IDEAS graduate level class (at The New School?), a carbon copy of the "Introduction to the Japanese Edition" of this title, and an unsigned (but from Padover) ink note dated Feb. 9.1970, listing names of added topics to a new edition of this title (Brandies, Debs, Thomas , M.L. King, E. Warren). Great collection for Padover fanatics.
