Automotive Daily News/Automotive News: Detroit 1938-1942 17 individual issues are 14.5 x 10, with stiff pebbled black wraps, 2 six month each issues are 15.5 x 11, black pebbled cloth, pagination varies on all. Ex-corporate library, wrap edge are lightly fraying, first volume of 1942 have cello tape marks, contents of issues have toning, tears/edge tears, occasional red pencil marks else very good. Some of the articles: deaths of Walter P. Chrysler, Charles Duryea and Fred J. Fisher; Selden Patent; 30th anniversaries of Graham and Hudson, New York and Chicago auto shows, auto and truck rationing, war slashing car output, 1941 New York auto show cancelled, bomber school started by Ford, Packard making more plane motors and much, much more. The 29 issues contain January and October 1938; May, August, Sept and Nov 1939; January, May, August, Sept, November and December 1940; January, March, July, Nov and Dec 1941; January-June and July-Dec 1942.
