Barse and Hopkins: NY 1914 10x6.5, pict wraps, unpag, covers worn and darkened (esp at foredge), front cover detached, spine cover gone, hinges loose, a very loose copy but filled to the brim with photos, programs, newspaper clippings, calling cards, etc. Not officially identified, but from a James Laing, who got As and Bs in Economics and French, but mostly Cs in Physics and Geology. Laing became a professor of Sociology at Kent State University. Included are several photos of men in uniform (ROTC?), and an original letter from the US Navy relieving Laing of all active duty as an Apprentice Seaman in the USN Reserves, December 22, 1919, along with all the usual concert programs, etc. Interesting.
