The National Builder Publishing Co: Chicago 1889 Six monthly issues bound in one volume. With seven full page chromo lithos, two full page b&w plates, many illustr in text; nice Victorian ads, 13.5 x 10.25, half leather, pebbled cloth, p 1-108 + 30-32 pp of ads in each issue, Indexes for Vol. VII & VIII bound in, covers very worn, rear cover detached with last few pp (including vol VIII index), spine missing, hinges loose, contents toned, one ad page missing corner (no loss of text), one small edge tear but a very nicely preserved, and the color lithos are spectacular! Also includes five of six (missing April) "Detail Drawings Accompanying the Supplement to the National Builder;" folding plates, approx 37x48" each, toned, minor rears to folds but clean and bright; showing building details and floor plans. Also, June issues has story about the new Eiffel Tower. Original covers to issues not included. Rebinding candidate; and the giant "Drawings Accompanying . . . " would look awesome framed.
