Printed b&w photos (on cover and inside), 10 x 7.5, cream colored wraps with photo of "River-Cene" on the front along with title, etc., book bound with brown cord, light green pages printed on one side only, unpag (20 pages), covers have soiling, toning, stain on lower front extending to spine and a little bit on the back, corners and spine tips light bumped, cord fraying just a little, a few tiny edge tears, light soiling to title page else good. Clarence M. Burkholder, one of the publishers of the "Fort Gratiot Enterprise" newspaper wrote this book to commemorate the 62nd birthday of Capt. William Kenyon, the longest serving captain with the D.& C. Navigation Company and the current owner of the family homestead "River-Cene" in St. Clair, Michigan. The contents have a few photos, original poetry which the author has colored in the first letter of each paragraph and the title on the cover as well as other illustrations in the book. A one-of-a-kind tribute.
