SUFI INTERPRETATIONS OF THE QUATRAINS OF OMAR KHAYYAM AND FITZGERALD.

J.F. Taylor and Co: NY 1902 Illustr, 12.5 x 9.5, full maroon morocco, covers have four gold tooled rectangles: two rows of doublet filet, another two rows of double filet, two rows of single filet and leaf pattern with floral stamp in each corner extending the double filet, a final row of double filet with a rose in each corner, slightly raised gold tooled bands with dots across each band ending with a floral pattern, six floral panels with single filet along the sides and double filet at top and bottom, top and bottom of spines have double filet with wavy lines and dots, floral gilt inner dentelles, marbled endpapers, unpag. Light scuffing/scraping, shelfwear, corners lightly bumped, spine sunned to an attractive reddish-brown color, bookplates, frontis chipped, small tears to its tissue guard, scattered foxing, edge toning, light soiling, uncut pages else good/very good. Text is bordered by a variety of patterns with a variety of illustr within the borders, printed on rag paper, a truly lovely book, inside and out. FIRST ED.
