The half page illustr is titled "Marriage of a Colored Soldier at Vicksburg by Chaplain Warren of the Freedmen's Bureau." There is an article on the differing conditions at Andersonville prison and Fortress Monroe where Jefferson Davis was detailed, with illustr emphasizing the differences. Front cover has a half page illustr. " The Halt: by Thomas Nast," and an obit on Lewis Cass. Also in this issue, an installment of Harrington's "Inside A Chronicle of Secession." A complete issue.
