A total of 11 issues of Brighton High School's student newspapers "The Tatler," "Bright and Hi News" and "Michigan Argus," 1933-1936?

Brighton, MI 1933-1936? 11 x 8.5, printed stapled wraps, unpag, issues are usually printed on one side only and generally between 3 - 5 pages, one issue has 8 pages. Chipping, tears, staining, toned, soiling, two issues have no dates but guessing they're from 1936. COMES WITH: newspaper clipping from a local newspaper showing a group of young men with this caption "15 Livingston County Selectees Leave for U.S. Army" and dated July 16, 1941, lists all their names. Also: Western Union telegram with envelope, from "Mother" to a Private William Garwood (shown in the clipping), sent to Battery C 11th Battalion at Ft. Bragg with this message "No word since you were home are you ok answer collect." William Garwood was also a contributor to the student newspapers. Sold as a lot. Sold as is. Grand total of 14 pieces.
