Jamestown Ter-Centennial Exposition Commemorative Gilt Medal with the Face of Pocahontas on One Side and the Landing of the Expedition on the Reverse. Struck by the U.S. Mint on the Exposition grounds.

Jamestown. 1907 HK 347. 1" diameter. Previous owner encased the medal inside plastic in a sturdy cardboard "sleeve" which is red w/ black tape around the edges. Not examined out of sleeve but appears to be in very good condition. The Jamestown Ter-Centennial Exposition was to commemorate the 300th anniversary of the first permanent settlement in North America by English speaking people.
