Six Real Photo Postcards of Truckee, California: McKay's Tomb, Donner Lake, downtown Truckee after a major snowfall, train which runs from Colfax to Trucke and two different views of an Alaskan dog team in Truckee.

Truckee nd (early 20th 3.5 x 5.5, no photog listed, postally unused, brief pencil notes on back of most cards commenting on the scene, light wear, creasing and soiling. McKay's Tomb is on top of a hilll and shows a young person (African-American?) looking down at it; Donner Lake " . . . they have a launch that takes you around the lake"; "Truckee, Cal. 61" on front of card and shows the H. Wilkie Grocery to the right behind the piled up snow; two men posing alongside the train "This is the large engines they use from Colfax to Truckee"; "Alaska Dog Team Truckee," shown are the team and drivers and the other dog team postcard has them pulling people in a sled "They make the dogs go any direction without lines first by hollering Indian names." The postcards are not addressed to or signed. Sold as a lot.
