MICHIGAN COOK BOOK. Compiled and Published by the Junior Auxiliary of St. Paul's Episcopal Church Detroit, Michigan.

Detroit nd (1911?) 9 x 6, stapled wraps, 96 pp, lacks covers, title page (first page) and last page (detached) are soiled, torn, stained, and missing small pieces, pencil name on title page of Nettie Littell, pages nearest front and back are toned, soiled and have offsetting, staining along foredge, staining and offsetting in baking and dessert sections else good. There are recipes for Stuffed Liver, Deviled Sardines on Toast, Potato Foam, Asparagus Loaf, Snow Jelly, Moonshine (pudding). Local ads for Henkel's Bread Flour, Voigt's Crescent Flour, Detroit Drug Co. Some of the last names of the contributors: Marquis, Chapin, Larned, Frisbee, Trowbridge, Farmer. Located on Woodward Avenue at Hancock, St. Paul's Episcopal Church became the cathedral for the diocese in 1912 and the name changed to the Cathedral Church of St. Paul, which is still its name today. Sold as is. Scarce.
