Framed original military hospital cartoon "Patient Patients of 1-A."

np nd Cartoon is approx. 15 x 10, black painted wood frame is 15.5 x 10.5. Frame has a few nicks, backing paper is torn and has ink name of former owner, image not examined out of frame. Cartoon is done in black, white and gray with "1-A" in red and there are seven different vignettes. Some of the scenes: A Civil War (?) veteran asks a soldier in pajamas "What war did you fight in Buddy?" with the caption "Some Fellers Never Get Out!"; another called "Night Barrage" where a sleeping soldier is snoring loudly; and "Reconditioning Program" where two soldiers are playing chess next to a soldier resting in his bed who is telling another soldier to go away. Artist's name is not shown. Probably from World War II.
