Arnold Shaw: NY 1916 7.75 x 5.25, cloth backed gilt lettered boards, 73 pp with index + ads, covers quite worn, extremities bumped and fraying, spine soiled, hinges loose, part of dust jacket glued in on front fly, contents used and toned with several pages heavily toned from old newspaper clipping (one present). Second printing but WITH AUTOGRAPH NOTE SIGNED "SELL" BY HENRY BLACKMAN SELL ON CHICAGO DAILY NEWS LETTERHEAD: "Dear Rickel: Greater love hath no man . . . " Rickel pens his own name inside front cover of the book and adds "1917 Dec 25." Note has folds but is otherwise clean and bright. Henry Sell was the Literary Editor for the Chicago Daily News at the time.
