Folding postcard "Souvenir of Upper Mississippi River Between Keokuk and St. Paul. Postmarked "Davenport, Iowa, May 18, 1919."

Oblong 4.25 x 6.25 and expands to 4.25 x 43. Postally used, handwritten message dated May 17, 1919, "envelope" is soiled, sunned, creased, fold tears, postcards (in color) are good except for one at the top which has been partially peeled away from "envelope." Some of the scenes: steamers Helen Blair, Morning Star, Keokuk, Minneapolis and Minnesota; Reads Landing; McGregor Heights; Alma, Wisc.; Fountain City, Wisc. Note is addressed to a friend back home in Detroit, tells him he stopped in Chicago on the way (to Davenport) and had a good time and now it's "down to business at school." The sender indicates that he can smell flowers (where he lives?) and requests that "When anybody dies let me know so I can send them a bunch of German Carnations." Signed "Adam Restovich, P.S.C. (P.S.C. might be Palmer School of Chiropractic) Davenport, Iowa."
