This booklet was issued by "The Order of the Native Sons of the Golden West" which ". . . was a direct result of the Independence Day parade of 1875 . . . purposed for which the Order was created. . . to perpetuate in the minds of all Native Californians, the memories of one of the most wonderful epochs in the world's history -- the days of '49 . . . " Contents: lists all the members involved, places of interest (Golden Gate Park, Seal Rock, Sutro Heights, Presidio, Chinatown), amusements (theatres, opera houses, Sutro Baths), official program. "Chinatown" must have been of especial interest because according to the description ". . . For a night visit and inspection of the opium and gambling dens, underground haunts, etc., a reliable guide is necessary. . . " Sold as is.
