Election Flyer promoting the voting records of presidential candidate John F. Kennedy and Michigan gubernatorial candidate John B. Swainson

np nd (1960) Illustr of candidates' faces, 11 x 8.5, printed on one side only. Light creasing, small tear else good. "A lot of sheer nonsense is being peddled these days about the supposed 'new look' of the Republican Party" and goes on to indicate that the Republicans "proclaim their support for the people" while Kennedy and Swainson actually did something for the people (instead of just talking about it). There is a list of programs that the Democrats voted for and the Republicans against, i.e., low cost housing, minimum wage, extension-unemployment compensation. Comes with an excerpt from then Senator Kennedy's speech delivered on the 25th anniversary of President Franklin D. Roosevelt's signing of the Social Security Act. 7.75 x 11, creased, small tears else good. Sold as a pair.
