Commemorative Medal Celebrating the Inauguration of Benjamin Harrison, the 23rd President of the U.S.

np nd 1.5" diameter. Small hole at the top, scratches, light spotting else good. On front: "Benjamin Harrison President of the U.S." along with his image and on reverse: "Inauguration March 4, 1889" with U.S. Capitol in the bacground. Grandson of William Henry Harrison, the 9th President, he served a four year term, 1888-1892. His administration was marked by a revival of American industries plus a reduction of the public debt leaving the country prosperous. He was succeeded by Grover Cleveland, whom had defeated four years earlier.
