Benjamin Johnson: Philadelphia. 1895 44 plates including two foldouts (pagination fluctuates between Roman and Arabic numbers). 10 x 8.5, full leather, small red spine label with gilt lettering, 61 pp. Disbound, lacks free front endpaper, inscription on rear free endpaper, tears to title page and four plates (three are in the margin and other is along a fold), edge tears, toned, heavily spotted, covers well worn, rubbed, repaired, scratched, spine well worn and rubbed (including spine label), text block tight. Ink note on rear endpaper reads: "Joseph Morris His Book bought January 24th, 1812 price $4.25" (in pencil "At Philadelphia"). "After the death of my father, at Augusta, Ky. July 3rd, 1833, this Book was bought at his 'sale' by Peter H. Rudd -- a former apprentice and by him sold to Robert D. Morris -- for the sum he paid $2.00 -- at Augusta, Ky. Aug. 21, 1875.
