Tour packet, possibly 1920s, put together by the Detroit Automobile Club, includes 10 route cards (i.e., Detroit-Buffalo), 3 railroad timetables (i.e.Chicago and Northwestern Line), 6 brochures (i.e., Gray Line Itinerary for Visitors in Quebec) and origin

Detroit nd 1920s (one timetable indicates it was corrected to Oct. 30, 1921). Contents vary in size, route cards 9.5x2.5 to 9.5x5, timetables 9x8 to 9x15 (unfolded), brochures 5x6 to 18x11 (unfolded), envelope 10.5x5, printed with the wheeled logo and "This Package Contains Touring Information Furnished by Detroit Automobile Club 139 Bagley Avenue Detroit, Michigan" and a list of the branches. Route cards have light creasing, toning, pencil numbers, timetables have creasing, soiling, toning, small tears, one is missing a section/name of railroad co., another has pencil notes; envelope is creased, soiled, has light staiing, pencil number, small tears. Contents: 10 route cards (Detroit-Buffalo, Buffalo-Syracuse, Syracuse-Albany, Albany-Springfield, Mass., Springfield-Boston, Boston-Portsmouth, Portsmouth-Portland, Detroit-London, Ontario, London-Hamilton, Hamilton-Toronto), 3 railroad timetables (Chicago & Northwestern Line, Chicago & Eastern Illinois, "anonymous" which has a map on one side showing the route originates in Chicago and ends in San Francisco with several "side trips"), 6 brochures ("When in Montreal or Toronto It's Murray's Murray's Good Food-Montreal and Toronto with a printed map inside, Gray Line Itinerary for Visitors in Quebec, Gray Line Quaint Montreal 40 pp, Gray Line Itinerary for Visitors in Quebec, Gray Line Quaint Montreal 40 pp, Gray Line Quebec Montmorency Falls and St. Anne de Beaupre 96 pp, Historical Guides' Winter Sports in Old Quebec, LaFrance House "Select Home for Tourists" 144 St. Cyrille St. Quebec City" and only the ones listed with page numbers have the greater amount of detail. "Winter Sports" and "Quaint Montreal" have nice cover illustrations. An interesting collection of early automobile/train travel. A total of 20 pieces, including envelope. Sold as a lot.
