HARPER'S WEEKLY Dewey Number. Volume XLIII, No. 2232

Harper & Bros.: NY Saturday, Septe Illustr, 16.5 x 11, printed stapled wraps, (953) - 1000. Covers have light creasing and spotting, a few edge tears, spine is splitting, missing small piece on front side margin at spine, body of magazine not attached to covers, tiny piece of lower front right corner lacking, contents have an occasional small edge tear or chipping, there are two sections (one the centerfold) that are loose but have no staple marks. Nice color cover illustr by Mora, cover and contents are in good/very good condition. Issue devoted totally to Admiral Dewey and the Spanish American War. Among the contents is Kipling's poem "Let Us Now Praise Famous Men" and a nice illustr by A.H. Keller for Van Zile's "With Sword and Crucifix." And of course the ads: i.e., Locomobile, Remington Typewriters, Kodak, Schlitz and a full page ad for Walter Bader & Co., "Some Notes on the Food Value of Cocoa and Chocolate."
