Trade Catalogue "The Little Book" for the C.H. Little Co., Detroit Mich., "Manufacturers, Wholesalers & Retail Dealers, Builders' and Pavers' Supplies."

Detroit nd (early 1900s Illustr, 7.75 x 5, printed corded wraps, 65 pp. Covers have light soiling, staining and creasing, small tears, last couple of pages have light creasing and soiling else very good. Several photographs of the company offices and yards, businesses that use their products, i.e., Little's Hard Wall Plaster was used at the House of Providence in Detroit. Lots of advertisements: Portland Cement, the Garry Iron and Steel Co, Toch Brothers Technical Paints and Varnishes, Sackett Plaster Board. From the catalogue: "Mr. C.H. Little, the founder . . . entered this line of business with Mr. Frederick B. Sibley in 1856 . . . purchased the interests of Mr. Sibley, establishing a business for himself in 1887 under his own name . . . " The offices were in the Peninsular Bank Building and the yards were on Atwater at the river, Michigan Ave. near Clark St., John R. and the Lake Shore & Michigan Southern Ry. and at the foot of West End Ave.
