9 x 6, lined stationery with letterhead of "National War Work Council of Young Men's Christian Associations of the United States," YMCA envelope, 6.5 x 3.75, fold creases, toning, light wear, envelope is postally used, worn, torn, addressed to "Miss Emma Meyer, Rigar, Lenawee Co., R.F.D. #1, Lenawee Co., Mich." Handwriting is very legible, writes about visitors, that "Johnny" is in quarantine and is lonely and that "My name is in to go with some of the boys that are expecting to go away any time . . ."
