Color Postcard "Benjamin Siegel Residence, Boston Boulevard, Detroit, Mich," showing the front of this Albert Kahn designed house.

Detroit nd (1915?) 3.5 x 5.5, postally unused, light wear and soiling else good. This 13,000 square foot Italianate villa, designed by Albert Kahn was built in 1915 for Benjamin Siegel, a prominent local merchant. Siegel was the owner of B. Siegel, an upscale women's, misses' and children's clothing store located on Woodward Avenue at State in downtown Detroit. Printed on the back of the card: "Architect--Albert Kahn, Detroit, Contractors-Vinton Company, Detroit, Berry Brothers' Architectural Finishes used throughout this beautiful residence."
