Dayton 1923 Permit is a card, oblong 2.5 x 4, printed on both sides, permit information on the front and rules on the back. Corners clipped, heavily soiled, creased, stained, the date of 1923 was originally pritned as 1920 with the "3" wirtten over the "0." Everett Burghardt had badge No. 202 and was born in Dayton on Sept. 7, 1908, with blue eyes, light hair and color "W" per the info on the front. License will be revoked "If he sells before 5:30 a.m. or after 6:30 p.m., unless he is fifteen years old." Card is signed by Sergt. E.A. Snyder, Superintendent Bureau of Crime Prevention. Scarce.
