Roosevelt, Franklin and Eleanor.

Signed and Inscribed Photos of Franklin and Eleanor Roosevelt, each in frame made from wood taken from the White House Roof, each frame with brass plaque, and Franklin's frame has inset 1" diameter brass medallion of the Presidential Seal.

np (Washington D.C.) nd (c 1930s) FDR's image is 9.5 x 8.5, with wide margin at bottom framed to 12 x 12.5; Eleanor's is 8 x 5.75, framed to 10.5 x 8, some scuff marks on framed, photos look very nice, FDR's photo has blindstamp of Harris & Ewing. The plaques state that the wood was from the White House roof, erected in about 1817 and removed in 1827. Both photos are inscribed to Charles E. Thompson, reportedly from the Judge Advocate General's Office. Archivally refitted. Also includes FDR coin and stamp set from 2004 (includes a dime, five uncancelled USPS stamps, a small engraved portrait, and a bronze medallion.
