POEMS OUT OF WISCONSIN by Wisconsin Poets, edited by Maude Totten.

The Wisconsin Fellowship of Poets 1961 9 x 6, boards, 138 pp, light wear to covers, bookplate, offsetting from newspaper clippings, underlining of poets' names in the table of contents else contents clean and good. With three poems by August Derleth. Included are autographs from two members of the Wisconsin Fellowship of Poets, Dr. Helen C. Smith and Dorothy Cole Schrader. Inscription and autograph with pasted-in photo of Dr. Smith on the free front endpaper. A mounted signed card by Mrs. Schrader at the bottom of one of her poems. Also, a small stack of newspaper clippings on Dr. Smith and Mrs. Schrader and letters, etc. written by Mrs. Schrader: two Christmas cards, 15 typed letters signed and one typed letter unsigned. Dr. Helen C. Smith, Ph.d., was a widely published poet, both locally and internationally, honorary Poet Laureate (American-Visayan) and winner of numerous awards. Mrs. Dorothy Cole Schrader began her poet's career a bit later in life (although her writing career began at the age of 9), and was also widely published and the recipient of several poetry awards.
