Munn & Company: NY 1910. Illustr, 16 x 11.5, quarter leather 532, 532. Ex-lib, covers worn and soiled, corners very well worn, leather scuffed/scraped, outer/inner hinges cracked, spine cover cracked and peeling, pencil name, tears, light soiling and creasing. There are at least 20 zeppelin/airship articles and these are of particular interest: "The Military Automobile as a Weapon Against Airships and Flying Machines," "The Parseval Airship," "Proposed Transatlantic Airship Expedition" (these three all have airship covers). Also: "Rufus Porter and His Flying Ship," "Motor Balloon Guns. Automobile vs. Airship." Other non-airship articles: "The New Wright Biplane," "Automobile Fire Engines. A New Type of Motor Vehicle," "How to Escape from a Sunken Submarine." Jan. 15 is the "Automobile Number" and Oct. 22 is the "Aviation Number," both with color covers and full page color ads on the back cover (auto.plane). Lots of b&w car ads. Plus much more. Sold as is.
