Envelope with stationery and a coaster from the "Queen of Bermuda," part of the Furness Bermuda Line.

np nd (1930s?) Envelope 3.75 x 5.5, stationery 7 x 5.25, coaster 3.25 diameter. All items unused, light wear, stationery has fold crease, small bit of spotting on envelope and stationery, back is peeling off of coaster. The Queen of Bermuda and her sister ship, The Monarch of Bermuda, were launched just prior to WWII. These luxury liners offered three week cruises (NY to Bermuda) and were very popular, esp with honeymooners. In 1939, the Queen of Bermuda and her sister ship were requisitioned for war use. The "Queen" became an armed merchant cruiser and later a troopship. It survived the war to return to service as a luxury cruise ship.
