Illustr shows a fashionably dressed young Black woman walking away from a church in the company ofan elderly Black man/preacher carrying a carpet bag who has left his bible on the pathway behind them. Some of the lyrics: "Old Deacon Johnson was a preachin' man . . . One day a dark-skin damsel blow'd in town. Some-bod-y started scan-da-la-tion 'round . . . Next Sun-day they found the church door lock'd . . ." Sold as is.
