"Interview with Mr. Jesse L. Lasky, Thursday June 25, 1953, at 650 N. Bronson, Hollywood, California [cover title, carbon copy of original typescript].

Hollywood, CA 1953 11 x 8.5, wraps bound with metal binder clasp, 39 leaves printed on one side only plus mimeographed brochure plus 7 page carbon copy of typescript bio of Lasky, covers soiled and worn, brochure with foredge tear, otherwise a good used copy. Orin Borsten interviews Lasky regarding Lasky's next project, a movie entitled, "The Big Brass Band," which would feature the first All American High School Band, which Lasky was helping to organize, and the interview reflects this aim. Lasky, of course, produced the first feature film made in Hollywood with his brother-in-law Sam Goldwyn and friend CB DeMille; Lasky went on to produce hundreds of other movies over the years. THE BROCHURE IS INSCRIBED "Be sure and read this" AND SIGNED "JESSE" BY JESSE L. LASKY. The film was never made.
