THE HONORABLE ORDER OF KENTUCKY COLONELS 26TH ANNUAL DINNER, Souvenir Program [signed by Albert B. Chandler].

Louisville, KY 1959 Photos, 11 x 8.5, stapled self wraps, gilt decorated with embossed seal on front cover, some wear and soil, tipped in bookplate signed by previous owner, paper clip marks from old, yellowed newspaper clippings else a decent item. SIGNED BY ALBERT B. [HAPPY] CHANDLER AS "COMMANDER-IN-CHIEF" NEXT TO HIS PORTRAIT. Also, attached on same page is photo of former owner shaking hands with Chandler (former owner has also signed his name next to photo). Also paper-clipped inside is genuine "General Admission" ticket to "Derby Day" at Churchill Downs, May 2, 1959. That year's Derby was one of the most exciting, with Tomy Lee (not to be confused with Tommy Lee) winning by a nose. Chandler was former Governor of Kentucky, US Senator, and Commissioner of Baseball. He is a member of the Baseball Hall of Fame.
