John Grant: Edinburgh 1903 Illustr, 10.5 x 7, gilt decorated red cloth with gilt lettering, top edge gilt, 298 pp, 303 pp. Covers have light/moderate wear, corners and spine tips bumped and worn, spines slightly cocked, light soiling and spotting, address labels inside covers, endpapers have sunning and offsetting, scattered light spotting and smudging, text blocks cracked and split, a few pages roughly opened, volume 1 has ink name and date, inner hinges tender, sunning to half title, offsetting to back of title page and front of table of contents, volume 2 has cracked inner hings, front cover loose, loose signatures, loose illustr and page. Gilt decoration on spines is just a little faded else covers are bright, sharp and attractive, majority of text is clean and good.
