Framed Mounted Photo of the Cook & Feldher Co. store in Jackson.

Jackson nd (1890s) Photographer was E.E. Thayer of Jackson, this photo is #9038. Photo is 6 x 8.5 on a gray mount which is 8 x 10. There is a vertical crease top to bottom affecting both photo and mount with chipping along the edges of the crease, mount has light sunning and spotting, else good. Shown is an attractive three story building with a front of white marble (?), large display windows on the first floor with mannequins. Above the windows is the store name and above the second floor windows "Dry Goods, Cloaks and Carpets." On either side of the store are two horsedrawn delivery wagons, with the store's name on each, posing on the snowy street. The building adjacent to Cook & Feldher is the Crown Theatre "Dramatic Picture Today." In 1892 Feldher entered into partnership with Cook opening this store on Main Street in Jackson. Attractive. Because of the crease, it is being offered AS IS.
