AUTOGRAPH LETTER SIGNED BY JEROME KERN ON HIS LETTERHEAD.

np August 13 nd One page, 11 x 7.25, with "Jerome D. Kern" at top, some minor wrinkling (from affixing to backing?), folds, toned else a nice, neat, 20 line chatty letter from Kern, SIGNED "JEROME KERN" AT BOTTOM. Letter to a "Mr. Perkins," saying he looks forward to meeting recipient, mentions "Dick" (Richard Rodgers?), Russell Bennett (who scored Kern's Show Boat), working on Fred Stone piece ("I'm really up to my neck in it now. . . " Kern worked on Stone's Stepping Stones, Criss Cross & Dear Sir in the 1920s). Kern promises to "give you a shout when it's over. . . ." Framed to 13 x 9.5, not examined out of frame but looks in great condition.
