His opponent, Christopher Gore, Federalist, is accused of heading " . . . the party of tories, speculators, Englishmen, infected with the corruption of their own country." (Spoiler alert: Gerry won). Also in the newspaper is the news regarding the French invasion of Spain, ship news, ads.
