Miller-Storm, Inc.: Detroit 1929 Illustr, 12 x 9, pict color stapled wraps, 160 pp. Covers are creased, spotted, worn, small tears at spine tips, corners bumped, contents creased, spotted, soiled/smudged, a few small tears, on page 24 a photo of one of the construction dept. Staff has been cut out, the majority of the pages are clean and good. The Miller-Storm Co. was formed in Detroit in 1921 by George W. Miller and Arthur S. Storm. "At a time when the home shortage was acute, when builders everywhere were constructing homes hastily without thought to design or permanence, the Miller-Storm Company inaugurated their policy of building Good Homes." In 1921, the company's first office was a small home located at Twelfth and Calvert. By 1927, construction began on their new very large offices at Linwood and Elmhurst. Scarce.
