FIRST ED, SIGNED BY THE FOLLOWING CAST MEMBERS OF THE ORIGINAL THEATRE GUILD PRODUCTION: Mary Arbenz, Lee Baker, James Boshell, Alice Brady, Jack Byrne, Thomas Chalmers, Augusta Durgeon, Bernice Elliott, Phillip Foster, Grant Gordon, John Hendricks, Arthur hughes, Earl Larimore, Emily Lorraine, (Alla) Nazimova, Oliver Putnam, Erskine Sanford and Janet Young. INSCRIBED "To Peggy -- from one of the goddam Mannons -- Orin -- with love -- Larry" above Earl Larimore's signature -- he played Orin. The play ran for 150 performances 1931-32. Additionally, Alice Brady identifies herself as "Lavinia" (her role) and Nazimova inscribes "To my son, Orin, Mother" (her role was Orin's mother). All signatures are on reverse of front free end paper and half title -- both are browned. Also includes famous photo of Eugene O'Neill lounging on a hillside with his dalmation, photo taped and marked for reprinting, with pencil and grease pencil notes on back. This great association piece. . . With original card presenting this book from Peggy!
