Printed by G.M. and sold at John Marriot's shop: London. 1635. 76 full page illlustrations by William Marshall, Will Simpson and others, 5.5 x 3.5, old leather, 307 pp, binding defective: leather peeling off rear cover, very worn, spine ends chipped (esp bottom), etc., inner hinges bad, ink notes, old staining, title page missing but engraved title affixed to fronk blank, corner of dedication page gone, devil scratched out of one illustr, one illust (book 5 # ix) with heavily stained corner very loose copy but still usable and enjoyable. With Benlowe's poem to Quarles (1634) as dedication. SWAF. FIRST ED. Important work.
