Postcard addressed to Wm. H. Cobb of Birmingham, Oakland County, regarding a real estate transaction.

Detroit Dec. 10, 1896 3.5 x 5.5 Light creasing and soiling else good. The postcard, from a G.H. Berlin in Detroit, relays an offer of 40 acres and $200.00 cash from a man in Interlochen, Travis (sic) County, for 2 acres that Cobb owns in Birmingham. In part "a few yards from Depot, a large stair mill just started there employs 150 men . . . It is good sandy loam and close to Interlochen Village . . ." (In the 1896 Detroit directory, Berlin's occupation is listed as real estate.)
