Menu from the Hotel Vincent. Saginaw, May 7, 1911.

Illust, 11 x 7, wraps w/ ribbon and tipped-in illust, unpaginated (4pp). Light wear, soiling, creasing to covers and illustr, ribbon fraying, contents have soiling, spotting, light creasing. The first page of the menu shows the entrance and the name of the orchestra playing that night (Cook's); the interior has a poem on one page and the other page has the menu. Some of the menu items offered were: Saute of Calfs Sweetbreads aux Champignons, Maraschino Punch, Stewed Tomatoes, Green Apple Pie, Ceylon & Green Tea. The final page shows an illust of the hotel. The Hotel Vincent, operated by WH Aubrey & Co., was reputed to be one of the finest hotels in Michigan. This elegant structure was located in downtown Saginaw and met its demise too soon when it burned to the ground in the 1920s.
