"STANDARD DIARY 1887" (cover title).

6.75 x 4.25", two-tone cloth diary w/one page of lined paper per day, spine split, tape repaired, major wear, loose hinges, but contents usually vg. Taciturn diary entries, mostly concerning weather, every day has at least a couple of words. Evidently written by an elderly man in the Portland-Bremen-Augusta-Boothbay region; he was weak and ill throughout the year. He does write of his men (sons?) selling organs, and a shop he sometimes goes to. That's about all, though.
