WITH: A GENERAL HISTORY OF HUMMING-BIRDS OR THE TROCHILIDAE by W. C. L. Martin. Bohn: London nd. 16 handcolored engravings, 7 x 5", bound like set above, light waterstaining on bottom pp129-135, frontis tissue guard torn, title & preface pp almost detached. ALSO: THE NATURAL HISTORY OF THE HUMAN SPECIES. Charles Hamilton Smith. Bohn: London nd. 36 handcolored engravings, 7 x 5, bound like above. Inner front hinge cracking, pp189-190, 301-302, 445-447 partially opened & torn across text. ALSO: 2 hand-colored engravings not part of the set, but both by Lizars."Honey Rattel" (labeled plate 29) and "European Bee-Eater" (labeled plate 30). Light browning.
