James Joy and his wife sell to the Detroit Union Railroad Depot and Station Company three plots of land in Detroit for $1.00 (as the site of the new Union Station to be built in 1893?). SIGNED BY J(AMES) F. JOY AND MARY B. JOY. ADDITIONALLY SIGNED BY HARRY B. JOY as witness. JFJ was an owner of Michigan Central RR, and was once president of the Detroit Post & Tribune. Young HBJ (only 17 at the signing would later become president of Packard Motor.
