"The White House" Washington, DC October 2, 1926. 11 x 8.5", on White House letterhead, folds, minor discolor & wear else vg. A nicely handwritten letter to David Lawrence, famous journalist from the NY Evening Post & founder of the Consolidated Press Association, commending Lawrence on his new project, "The United States Daily": "a work which will enable our citizens to understand and use the fine facilities the Congress provides for them," The US Daily would later merge with another Lawrence project, "The World Report", and survives today as the US News & World Report.
