Letter to Lt. E.B. Clemson, Assit. Mil. Agent, Detroit, authorizing him to collect "….all the old clothing & stores not worth returning. You should keep a current account of the freight and repairs made on the Vessels….." SIGNED BY DEARBORN AS SECRETARY OF WAR. Clemson notes steps taken on reverse, and signs.
