London 1756. 8x5", 76pp, marbled boards and leather spine (with raised bands) which are worn and rubbed, corners bumped, extremities worn, bookplate, front inner hinge cracked, front endpaper loose. Small stain on top edge, bottom edge has some wavy pages, endpapers soiled, spotted and browned with offsetting from bookplate. Blank page has a couple of thin spots and is browned and soiled as is the 1/2 title page. The 1/2 title page also has a cotemp. (?) ink note and number, last few pages are soiled and spotted. BOUND WITH: ''AN APPEAL TO THE SENSE OF THE PEOPLE ON THE PRESENT POSTURE OF AFFAIRS". London 1756. 54pp, title page darkened, torn, soiled, spotted with contemp. (?) ink number. First page and reverse of title stained at lower gutter, occasional foxing, a few pages with rough edges, last page creased and soiled. BOUND WITH: "THE CONDUCT OF THE MINISTRY Impartially Examined". London 1756. 68pp, title page is heavily soiled, has contemp. (?) ink number and is missing a bit of the top corner, soiling to a few of the pages, edge tear, foxing, some rough edges, faint pencil numbers on last page. BOUND WITH: "A LETTER TO THE RIGHT HONOURABLE WILLIAM PIT, ESQ.". London 1756. 47pp+advertisment. Top of title page torn, ink lines in the margins of a few pages, last page is soiled. Label on spine reads: PAMPHLETS ON MINORCA. FIRST 3 TITLES ARE FIRST EDITIONS. The fourth title relates to America (See Howes C668).
